A Tale of Two Saturdays

The last few weekends have been full of activity as the weather has changed to...well, perfect. But last weekend was one that had been planned for a long time, regardless of the weather. Jackson loves Thomas. The trains and the stories have captured his imagination.

Trip discovered that the famous "Day Out With Thomas" was coming to Georgia and got us tickets months ago. I think we were just as excited to take Jackson as he was to see his favorite engine.

 

 

 

The experience was priceless.

This weekend was pure relaxation. Today was a beautiful, crisp, fall day. The leaves fell and the wind blew and we just enjoyed time, at home, as a family. As we were playing, Trip had the brilliant idea to rake the leaves into a pile just at the foot of the slide. Then we sent Jackson down into the pile listening to his giggles and squeals.

 

 

"Can I do it again?!"
